Terms of Use

1. Software license

Your license to use PuppySight downloaded from the Apple App Store is governed by the Apple Standard End User License Agreement (Standard EULA).

The trial, purchase, and refund information on this page supplements information about the app. It does not modify the Apple Standard EULA or Apple's applicable transaction terms, or limit your statutory consumer rights.

2. Free download and trial

PuppySight is free to download and includes a shared total of 3 free uses across photo capture, video recording, and photo or video conversion.

One free use is deducted only when a result is successfully saved to your device's Photos library. Previewing does not use the allowance. Failed or canceled operations that do not save a result, and completed conversions that have not been saved, do not use the allowance either.

The allowance is cumulative and does not reset each day. Once it is used up, a one-time purchase is required to continue using these features. Using up your free allowance will not charge you automatically or start a subscription.

Purchases, restored purchases, and refunds do not reset your free trial allowance.

3. One-time purchase and Pro access

A one-time purchase unlocks PuppySight Pro, with unlimited photo capture, video recording, and photo and video conversion. Future Pro updates are included without an additional purchase.

The purchased access has no fixed expiration date. This is not a subscription: there are no recurring charges or automatic renewals.

A one-time purchase grants a continuing license to use these features. It does not transfer ownership of the software or its intellectual property.

4. Price and payment

The current listed price in US dollars is US$3.99. Prices, currencies, taxes, and available promotions may vary by country or region. The amount and terms shown in Apple's purchase confirmation screen at the time of purchase apply.

Apple processes payment after you confirm the purchase. Pro access is unlocked once the purchase is complete and the purchase entitlement has been verified.

If the price changes later, existing purchasers will not have to pay the difference for the same purchased access.

5. Restore purchases

After reinstalling the app or moving to a compatible device, sign in with the Apple Account used for the original purchase and use Restore Purchases in the app to restore valid Pro access without paying again.

Purchasing, restoring purchases, and periodic verification of purchase entitlements may require an internet connection. If a purchase does not unlock Pro, try Restore Purchases or contact us for help.

6. Refunds

For purchases made through the Apple App Store, you can request a refund at Apple's Report a Problem website. If you cannot submit a request there, contact Apple Support.

Apple reviews and processes refund requests under its applicable rules and relevant law. We cannot guarantee approval or a specific time for a refund to reach you.

If a feature fails, Pro does not unlock, or you suspect a duplicate charge, you can contact us for help. You do not need to contact us before requesting a refund from Apple.

If a purchase is refunded or revoked, the corresponding paid access is no longer valid. Deleting the app does not automatically request or trigger a refund.

Nothing in these terms excludes or limits any right to a refund, repair, replacement, or other remedy available to you under applicable consumer protection law.

7. Disclaimers and limits of liability

PuppySight provides a research-informed approximation of dog and cat vision. The simulated results do not reproduce an animal's actual subjective visual experience and must not be used to assess or diagnose an animal's eyesight, eye health, or other health conditions.

Simulation results and app performance may vary with the device, operating system, camera, display, lighting, and source material. To the extent permitted by applicable law, we do not warrant that the app will always operate without interruption or errors on every device or in every environment.

Purchasing, restoring purchases, and verifying purchase entitlements may depend on Apple, RevenueCat, and an internet connection. If a purchase does not unlock Pro or the app is not working as expected, you can contact us for help using the details on this page. Refund requests are handled as described in the Refunds section.

Software warranties and limitations of liability are governed by the Apple Standard EULA and applicable law. Nothing in this information excludes or limits liability that cannot lawfully be excluded or limited, or affects your statutory rights to a refund, repair, replacement, or other consumer remedy.

8. User responsibilities, breaches, and license termination

PuppySight has no separate account registration, sign-in, or app account system. Apple manages the Apple Account used for purchases. The developer does not administer, suspend, or close your Apple Account.

You must comply with applicable law and the Apple Standard EULA and have the rights or permissions needed to capture, process, or share your material. You must not use the app to infringe anyone's privacy, intellectual property, or other legal rights, or obtain paid features through fraud or other unauthorized means. Copying, modification, reverse engineering, and distribution of the software are subject to the restrictions and legal exceptions in the Standard EULA.

If you breach the Apple Standard EULA, termination of your license is governed by section c of that agreement. You must stop using the app if your license terminates. For unlawful conduct or infringement of another person's rights, we may seek cessation of that conduct or other remedies available under applicable law.

If a purchase is refunded or revoked, the corresponding Pro access becomes invalid according to Apple's transaction status. This affects the purchase entitlement, not the suspension or closure of your Apple Account. Restoring a valid purchase, lawfully requesting a refund, or making a complaint does not in itself constitute a breach.

If you believe your purchase entitlement has been incorrectly recognized or wish to dispute a matter described above, contact the developer at mambahj24dev@gmail.com. These arrangements do not affect your statutory consumer rights or other available remedies.
